In 2011, in the Egyptian capital of Cairo, people gather in Tahrir Square in order to take part in demonstrations against the government, while, in a rural town near Luxor, farmers watch the upheaval on television. The upheaval of the Egyptian Revolution will not have an instant effect on their lives. However, the change is gradually and slowly taking place in their lives as well. This documentary follows the everyday life of Farmer Farraj as he sways between hopes and disappointments in the tumultuous post-Mubarak days up until the fall of President Morsi.
