Born in Seoul in 1973. She studied film directing at the Korean National University of Arts. "CRUSH AND BLUSH" is her feature film debut. She strut her talents in her short film "HOW IS EVERYTHING GOING?"(2004) which swept all the Best Short Awards in 2004. She was discovered by PARK Chan-wook when he was a member of the jury in the Mise-en-scene Short Film Festival. She went on to work in PARK Chan-wook's "SYMPATHY FOR LADY VENGEANCE"(2005) as an assistant.
