As part of exchange program with the International Women’s Film Festival in Seoul (IWFFIS), AIWFF 2010 screens seven Korean short films on 8 and 10 September.
The Korean Short Films 1 presents the following three films including "Believe in Me" that won the Grand Prize at the 12th IWFFIS.



Believe in Me

Jung-hwa is shocked when her old friend Yu-mi tries to talk her into a pyramid scheme upon their reunion. As they travel to the seaside together, Jung-hwa tries to talk Yu-mi out of it. A bittersweet tale of friendship between women.

Eun-soo has a narrow escape from the attack of a stranger on her way home. When another student from her school gets abducted and the police investigation starts, she suffers from increasing sense of guilt. Winner at Damah Film Festival in Hiroshima.


You Will Know
  • 2007/22 min.
  • Director: Kim Young-jae

Part-time teacher Miss Gang is convinced So-young has cheated during the exam. When So-young insists to be innocent, Miss Gang, wanting regular employment at school, bargains with her. A story about the loss of innocence set at a girls' school.
