A LYING WOMAN'S DAYBREAK

  • An adulterous affair costs Yuriko her comfortable way of life as a piano teacher. When she tries to turn a new leaf working in a luncher, she finds herself still branded by her inappropriate past. The latest film by the PFF Grand Prize winner.

  • When Grandpa falls from the attic and dies, five-year-old Chee is unable to take in his death. She discovers a huge hole in the attic and finds herself in a strange world on the other side. A film by a fresh indies talent from western Japan.

  • Separated from her husband, Asako lives with her young son in a bleak countryside. As a child, she shared a small dirty apartment with her mother and younger sister. The two different periods in her life intersect in this sensitive piece.
