"THE SUMMIT:A CHRONICLE OF STONES" Daisaku Kimura (Director/Japan)




Born in Tokyo, 1939. Daisuke Kimura started his career as a cameraman in 1958 and has participated in various films including “Mount Hakkoda” (1977) directed by Shiro Moritani, “Virus” (1980) directed by Kinji Fukasaku, “Izakaya Choji” (1983) directed by Yasuo Furuhata, “A Chaos of Flowers” (1988) directed by Kinji Fukasaku. “Buddies” (1989) directed by Yasuo Furuhata, “Abduction directed by Takao Okawara, “The Firefly” (2001) directed by Yasuo Furuhata, “Red Moon” (2004) directed by Yasuo Furuhata, and “The Haunted Samurai” (2007) directed by Yasuo Furuhata. He has made his directorial debut with “The Summit: A Chronicle of Stones”.
