Rikke, a Danish journalist, is taken hostage in Afghanistan by a terror group. However with help from one of the terrorists, the young Afghan Nazir, Rikke successfully flees and saves her life. Back home, her career is launched into the spotlight. In the meantime Nazir flees from Afghanistan and ends up in Denmark to ask for Rikke’s help, putting Rikke in a difficult situation that may jeopardize her professional integrity.
