For Japanese people, atomic bombings are traumatic events throughout 20th century. Three generations, an old woman who was the victim of the atomic bomb, her amnesia daughter, and granddaughter come to Hiroshima retracing the event back then about 50 years ago. Through this trip, they regain family ties and comfort. Mr. Kijyu Yoshida directs a film for the first time in 14 years, which organizes his works. WOMEN IN MIRROR was invited to Cannes Film Festival as special program. |

Berlin 1982. 17-year-old Nele was born and raised in West Berlin, with the ever-present Wall. She first crossed through the Iron Curtain for her grandmotherfs funeral, where she met the young Punk, Captain. A fleeting moment, an exchange of glances-for Nele itfs love at first sight. The Stasi (Secret Service) estranges Nele from Captain. They are united against the obstacle, the Wall, just for love. |

In the Gaea Japan led by charismatic Nagayo Chigusa, girls are being
trained as professional wrestlers, dreaming to be a somebody. Some run away
because of strict training and hierarchy there. The camera focuses on the track
of hard days of Takeuchi Saika, one of those wannabe wrestlers, up to the
tryout test. This documentary provides efforts of women in challenging
professional wrestling. |

rest family members, forcing them all to re-think their lives together. Romance
