Story
Namie Town, Fukushima Prefecture. Fourteen years later, some people still cannot return to their hometowns. Towari Marie Louise, a Fukushima City resident, survived the Rwandan genocide and the Great East Japan Earthquake. Drawing on her own experience as a refugee, she started hosting tea gatherings in temporary housing under the name "Rwanda Café." For over ten years, the film chronicles the daily lives of people who share their pain, overcome it, and strive to move forward.
