I am deeply grateful to the jury and the audience for embracing HONG, and to AIWFF for this precious recognition. Emotions can cross all borders, touching hearts beyond culture and language—and that is the true gift of this film. In the film, Hong says autumn is her favourite season. This award feels like the ripest fruit of this autumn. Just before I shared the news with her, she was in her hometown forest, tapping pine branches at the treetops as she has done for twenty autumns. The sound of pinecones falling to the ground is her simplest, most honest language. It reminds us that sincere expression always finds its echo, and that even ordinary life holds extraordinary power. I thank Hong for opening her life to us, letting everyone witness the light of the everyday. I thank our cinematographers for painting emotion with light and shadow, and our editor for weaving rhythm from countless frames. This award belongs to everyone who gave life to this film—and to everyone who continues to strive and harvest, even in the autumn of their own lives. Thank you. We will carry this honor with us always.
（事務局訳） 『HONG』を温かく受け入れてくださった審査員の皆様、そして観客の皆様に、心より感謝申し上げます。そして、この栄えある賞を授けてくださったあいち国際女性映画祭にも、深く御礼申し上げます。感情は、文化や言語の壁を越えて、心に届くものです。それこそが、この作品が持つ本当の贈り物だと思っています。作中でホンは「秋が一番好きな季節」と語ります。この賞は、まさにその秋に実った、最も豊かな果実のように感じられます。彼女に受賞を知らせる直前、ホンは故郷の森で、木のてっぺんにある松の枝を叩いていました。20年にわたって続けてきた秋の営みです。松ぼっくりが地面に落ちる音は、彼女にとって最も素朴で、正直な言葉なのです。それは、心からの表現には必ず共鳴があること、そして、何気ない日常の中にも特別な力が宿っていることを思い出させてくれます。ホンが自分の人生を私たちに開き、日々の光を分かち合ってくれたことに感謝します。また、感情を光と影で描き出してくれた撮影監督たちに、そして無数のフレームからリズムを紡ぎ出してくれた編集者に、心より感謝します。この賞は、作品に命を吹き込んでくれたすべての人々のものです。そして、自らの人生の「秋」にあってもなお、歩みを止めず、実りを求め続けるすべての人に捧げたいと思います。ありがとうございました。この名誉を、これからも胸に刻み続けます。

At the Aichi International Women’s Film Festival, what impressed me most was its sense of diversity and sincerity. The selection focused on female perspectives and stories about women from all over the world, reflecting an open and inclusive vision. The jury was deeply engaged—Mr. Eiji Okuda once shared that during deliberation, he often marked an “X,” while other jurors added “O”s beside it, leading to long discussions. Their genuine care for each film was truly touching. At the after-party, I asked Mr. Okuda for feedback on my film, and he opened a notebook filled with handwritten notes about it. That moment moved me deeply—it felt like being truly heard and understood. My film, set in a small city in northern China, tells a very personal story. I was quietly moved to see it resonate here, making the Grand Prize especially meaningful to me. The festival had a quiet, modest beauty. Everyone I met was sincere and respectful, which left a deep impression on me as a first-time visitor to Nagoya. This experience has given me great encouragement for my future work. The jury members encouraged me to continue developing my feature film, and their words have truly inspired me. I hope that one day I can bring my feature film to Aichi and share it on this warm and sincere stage.
（事務局訳） あいち国際女性映画祭で最も感銘を受けたのは、その多様性と誠実さでした。セレクションは女性の視点に焦点を当て、世界中の女性たちの物語を取り上げており、開かれた包容力のあるビジョンが感じられました。審査員の皆様は真摯に向き合っていらっしゃいました。奥田瑛二さんは、自身が「×」をつけた作品に他の審査員が「○」をつけ、長時間の議論になったとおっしゃいました。各作品に対する誠実な向き合い方に、心を打たれました。アフターパーティーで、奥田さんに作品の感想を尋ねました。彼はノートを開き、そこには私の映画についての手書きのメモがぎっしりと書かれていました。その瞬間、私は深く感動しました。本当に「聞いてもらえた」「理解してもらえた」と感じたのです。本作は、中国北部の小さな都市を舞台にした、とても個人的な物語です。それがこの地で静かに共鳴しているのを感じ、とても感動しました。そしてグランプリという結果は、私にとって特別な意味を持つものとなりました。映画祭全体が、静かで控えめな美しさを湛えており、出会ったすべての人々が誠実で敬意を持って接してくださったことが、名古屋を初めて訪れた私の心に深く残っています。この経験は、今後の創作活動に大きな励みとなりました。審査員の方々からは、長編映画の制作を続けてほしいという言葉をいただき、本当に勇気づけられました。いつか完成した長編作品をあいちに持ってきて、この温かく誠実な舞台で上映できる日が来ることを願っています。

この度は観客賞をいただきありがとうございます!制作時は机の上の小さなセットに向かって１人でひたすら撮影していました。それが大きなスクリーンで上映され、たくさんの方に見ていただき、観客賞もいただけて、この作品を作った意味を皆さまに与えてもらった感覚です。映画祭はとても刺激的で、制作への熱が高められました。また私の作品を皆さまに見ていただけるように頑張ります！
